Unexpected Menopause Symptoms

Roughly 70% of women are affected by at least one symptom of menopause. The biggest issue with menopause symptoms is that many are unprepared for or expecting them. Hair Loss 


Due to changing hormone levels, hair loss is a common menopausal symptom. Hair loss occurs when estrogen levels drop and hair follicles begin to fail. When hair becomes brittle,it may also start to thin out . Additionally, one of the more infrequent menopausal symptoms is an  increase of facial hair.

Memory Lapses 


Memory lapses usually occur due to a high amount of anxiety. Women suffering from menopausal symptoms often report feeling  stressed as a result of these symptoms and their side effects. This can cause memory lapses to increase in frequency.

Weight Gain 


When women are older than 50, because of changing hormone levels. Often, weight gain occurs because the metabolism has slowed down significantly.
